1. The TeleNeurologist will function as an attending neurology consultant to all areas of the Hospital for stroke evaluations. Will provide direct telemedicine bedside evaluation including timely communication with the Emergency Department, with sub-specialists, and other medical staff members on request.
2. During hours of scheduled on call duties, the TeleNeurologist will be available to respond to and provide professional services for emergencies and or routine neurology consultations on all inpatient and observation patients by request of medical staff
3. The TeleNeurologist will evaluate patients via telemedicine who need a consult and respond to information requests from the facility.
4. The TeleNeurology goal is to respond by phone within 5-10 minutes and evaluate and consult within 20 minutes for all potential CVA/TPA/ TNK patients.
5. The TeleNeurologist will obtain a history, review pertinent clinical and diagnostic results and perform a virtual tele-physical on these admitted patients to develop a plan of care and management. 
6. The TeleNeurologist will complete a written note on evaluated patients, using EMR and orders as needed in the CPOE system.
7. The TeleNeurologist will discuss the plan of care with the local MD,  nurse and other ancillary staff as well as with the family members who are present at bedside.
8. Develops collaborative virtual-relationships with primary, consulting, & referring physicians, facility leadership, and clinical ancillary staff.
9. The TeleNeurologist will be compliant with medical records completion within guidelines
10. The TeleNeurologist will complete an encounter form and log each encounter in VOH billing platform.
